Study Tours Update

Our Study Tours department works directly with faculty members at a variety of universities to provide all-inclusive, customizable study tours for any destination and subject. Our study tours can happen any time of the year, but May is typically a busy and exciting time. This year in May, we had:

  • 16 teams traveling around the world

  • 9 universities partner with L&LI to take their classroom global

  • 17 countries and every continent visited

  • Over 230 students and faculty traveling with us!

We love helping faculty bring their students abroad so that they can gain hands-on experience in a specific field. We go anywhere from Malaysia to Greece, Ecuador to Kenya, and a variety of other locations. Each study tour is a unique experience and we always appreciate hearing from students and how this time abroad was impactful. We asked a couple of students to share some photos and tell us about their time. Check out the below section to hear from these students.

Anderson University - Women’s Soccer Team Study Tour

Caroline Hill, a student from Anderson University, shared about her time as a part of the Anderson University Study Tour in Italy.

Anderson Women's Soccer Team in Italy

“An absolutely amazing experience in Italy! Living and Learning provided a wonderful trip for my soccer team and I that we will never forget. From visiting the Colosseum, Olympic Soccer field, Roman Forum, Vatican to an Island Boat Tour in Venice, everything about Italy was incredible. In our short time there, I felt as if I got a taste of life in Italy. For example, riding the metro, learning Italian, and eating croissants every morning! I was able to connect with my teammates, the refugees and locals we played soccer with, and also my L&LI hosts who are now my friends. Prior to this experience, I was scared to leave the country and now I can’t wait to visit more countries!”

“Serving in Kerugoya County hospital was an extremely rewarding experience. Being able to learn from, collaborate with, and assist the health care providers showed me how present God is in Kerugoya and the miracles He is accomplishing every day. It was also an incredible experience to help deliver babies into the world! It was an experience I will cherish forever.”
